Planting the Seeds for a Cure

Grace Anne

Grace Anne leads an active life, thanks to treatment and long term maintenance for her leukemia.

Today, discoveries at the Blood Research Institute (BRI) are saving lives and transforming healthcare. For over 60 years we have made numerous scientific breakthroughs and provided hope to families affected by heart disease, stroke, cancer, immune system disorders and blood diseases. With your help new treatments and cures, never believed possible, will soon become a reality.

But we need your help today, more than ever before. The future of research depends on you. Your gift can touch other people in our community and around the world by advancing patient care.

Help us help them by planting the seeds for a cure

Grace Anne was diagnosed with leukemia just before she celebrated her second birthday. She has received treatment and now is in long term maintenance. Although there is no cure for her leukemia, Grace Anne's mom is hopeful for a full and active life for her daughter. At the BRI, our researchers have developed a way to turn leukemia on and off in the laboratory. We want to continue our research until we find a cure.

I want to learn more about the Garden of Discovery for Research at the BRI.

I'd like to make an online donation.
